The short-term treatment of insomnia with didoxylamine is used when the patient has difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep. Doxylamine can also be used to relieve sneezing, runny nose, and nasal congestion associated with the common cold when combined with decongestants.
How to use:
If your child is under 12 years of age, do not give him/her doxylamine for insomnia. Consult a doctor before giving this medicine to a child younger than 6 years old who has cold or allergy symptoms.
