How does it work?

Treatment with adapalene is indicated for acne. Adapalene belongs to a class of medications known as retinoid-like compounds. Pimples will not form under the surface of the skin when using it.

Applications Or where it is used:

Medications such as this one are used to treat acne. Acne pimples may be reduced in amount and severity, and those that do occur may heal faster. Adapalene is a medication in the family of retinoids. It reduces swelling and inflammation by inhibiting cell growth.

How to use:

Adults and teenagers- A thin film should be applied once each day, one hour before bedtime. Acne-affected areas should be made dry, clean, and free of dust prior to application. Gently rub the cream on the affected areas.

Children- The dose and the use of this medication must be determined by your doctor.

Dosage of usage:

After gently washing your face with nonmedical soap, apply a thin, transparent film to your face and other affected areas.

Side effects:

It may feel warm or sting after the medication is applied. Some side effects may occur during the first 2-4 weeks of using the medication, including skin redness, itchiness, scaling, dryness, mild burning, or worsening of acne. They tend to subside as use continues.

Warnings and precautions while using this product

  • Avoid applying on eyes and lips.
  • Minimize exposure to sun; use sunscreen and protective clothing.
  • Extreme weather may cause skin irritation.
  • Risk of adverse reaction is higher during first month of treatment; generally, the reaction subsides with use.
