How does it work?

Smooth-muscle relaxing and spasmolytic properties are associated with its anticholinergic action. The gastrointestinal tract is treated with it in order to block muscarinic receptors associated with abdominal cramping. However, Hyoscine butylbromide binding to nicotinic receptors can cause a ganglion-blocking effect as well.

A muscle spasm is treated with hypscine butylbromide. The substance relieves cramps in the muscles of the stomach, intestine, bladder, and ureter. Additionally, it can treat Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). It is an anticholinergic drug.

Drink water while taking the tablets. Hyoscine butylbromide can be taken before or after meals.
