Nepafenac is manufactured and safely packaged by Shreeji Pharma International to be supplied within India as well as outside India. This pure and effective medication is a prescription medication. Eye pain, swelling, and redness associated with cataract surgery can be treated with nepafenac. This drug is part of a group of drugs called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which are used to eliminate allergic symptoms and inflammation.
How does it work?
NSAIDs, such as napafenac, works by preventing your body from producing substances (prostaglandins) that cause pain and swelling.
How to use:
Gently press your finger on the tear duct. Use a tissue to wipe away excess liquid. After placing more than one drop into the same eye, allow at least five minutes between drops. Place the bottle cap back on tightly.
Dosage of usage:
One drop of Nepafenac should be used three times on a daily basis starting one day before cataract surgery, then on surgery day and for the next two weeks afterward.
Side effects:
There are a few side effects of Nepafenac eye drops. It is better for the patients to talk to their doctors if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:
- Headache
- Runny nose
- Vomiting
- Dry, itchy, or sticky eyes
- Pain or pressure in the face

As long as you are allergic to it, you are not supposed to use nepafenac. Please let your doctor know if you have dry eye syndrome, diabetes, arthritis, or a bleeding or blood-clotting disorder like hemophilia before using nepafenac ophthalmic.
