Aluminum Magnesium Silicate

Introduction of product :

Minerals and beauty products primarily use magnesium aluminum silicate, which is derived from refined and purified clay. Unlike most fillers, it is naturally white in color and flaky to the touch. It is used mainly in deodorants, shaving creams, and thick lotions.

How does it work:

The fine powder finds use in cosmetic and pharmaceutical products as an absorbent, anticaking agent, suspending agent, tablet and capsule disintegrant, opacifying agent, viscosity-increasing agent, and tablet binder.

Manufacturing process:

Magnesium aluminum silicate occurs naturally in smectite clay silicate ores. Purified into a dense white powder, it is highly used in cosmetics and pharmaceutical treatments. 

How to use:

Magnesium Aluminum Silicate is used as a mineral bulking agent and stabilizer for toothpastes, gels, powder, emulsions and creams. A weathering product of feldspar, which is one of the most important rock-forming minerals on the earth's surface.
